Vessel Notification Module

For the first time ever, the ASYCUDA Vessel Notification module is now in full operation today 19th June 2026 at Vanuatu’s most southern Customs port of Lenakel, on the island of Tanna.

Using the system, Customs Officials stationed on Tanna can now process notifications for vessels and aircrafts calling into all southern ports of Vanuatu, as well as monitor vessel and aircraft movements throughout Vanuatu. Not only will this assist Customs border control efforts, but this is also in line with Customs policies to decentralize its services throughout the isolated archipelagoes of Vanuatu. The border control team who were part of this initiative also took the opportunity to digitalize Biosecurity operations on Lenakal, by receipting Biosecurity payments in the Single Window system for the first time ever.
